We carefully analyzed all the pain points of traditional record crates and we fixed them, one at a time, resulting in the one of a kind can. A re-envisioned way to easily store and flip through records while making the crates stackable and rollable by use of the eze dolly (sold separately). Designed, manufactured, and assembled by hand in our factory in Los Angeles.

Music is personal, and so is your choice of the Toneoptic can. Pick from brushed aluminum with post-consumer recycled content, smooth semi-matte black or glossy white powdercoat finishes (that match your rpm's color), or from stunning real hardwood in American white oak or American black walnut. To further customize your unit(s), upgrade to the 'can blue' record holders and feet to add a dash of color.

Plus, whichever direction you place can, you can always showcase the currently playing record, signal what’s stored inside, or line up three to four records to cue your next set. We love record crates for their simplicity and nostalgia, but not their usability. So we spent half a year painstakingly re-designing the most traditional way of storing records from the ground up with the same passion and obsession for innovation you came to expect from the makers of the rpm. We all know the pains of all the records in a crate falling onto your hands while lifting something that is crazy heavy. It should not be that way, and we took it upon us to ensure you can flip, stack, handle, and roll this crate. While adding an incredible stand-out piece of design to your interiors that is uniquely you. Can and eze have been designed, manufactured, and assembled by hand in our factory in Los Angeles.

How many records does can fit?
If your collection is compiled of mainly original pressings, the unit will fit up to 80 (12" or 10") sized records.
If you have re-issues and an occasional box set you can estimate ~60 records.
You can further place an additional 1-4 records in the record showcase sides of each unit.
