february's crate dig

📍Audiophile USA – Los Alamitos, CA

For this edition, we visited Mark of Audiophile USA in his amazing shop that houses 150,000+ records in Los Alamitos. After lengthy discussions, I twisted his arm and got him to spare something rather precious with us:

Number 86/100 (hand-numbered) of 'Zaggy Stirdust,' an experimental record that appeared in Dustin Ballard's Ted Talk where he revealed a blues version of Bowie's Star Man. You may know Dustin from the viral channel @there_i_ruined_it, and this record was actually released by Mark under the Ziggy Records name.

And, it was 100% masterfully crafted with AI, as this very record is the world's first AI-to-vinyl record. It's nuts, it's rather great, and it's definitely rare as can be. We got it for $75, and with a bit of luck, it can be quite the cool oddball record to add to your collection.
